Chemicals in Products

What's the concern?

Exposure to toxic chemicals in schools and child care settings can occur through the day to day use of various products.  Examples include cleaning and disinfecting products, arts and crafts supplies, science supplies, products with fragrances, toys, furnishings and carpets.  By choosing healthier, non-toxic alternatives and ensuring adequate ventilation and filtration, harmful exposures can be prevented and reduced.
