In light of the COVID-19 crisis, we have decided not to hold the Healthy Schools Day climate action campaign in spring 2020. Instead, we are encouraging students, educators, administrators, and school community members to start planning Healthy Schools Day climate action projects for the 2020-2021 school year. As we continue physical distancing to reduce the spread of the virus, now is a great time to explore ideas and connect online to start building your plans for the Countdown to Climate Action.
Check out the Resources tab for campaign ideas, curriculum resources, and to learn more about climate change, its health impacts and what we can all do to reduce carbon emissions and protect kids’ health. And get ready to celebrate our collective achievements in spring 2021!
